yesterday was a totally ungrounded random day.

the lack of family is most significant from thanksgiving through to about superbowl.....

reminiscing about the 'good ol' days' always reminds me of all the parties we had......any occasion was a good occasion for everyone to come together and celebrate, but ESPECIALLY on holidays.....decorations and food & drink & togetherness.  playing silly games and telling funny stories.....and always with the new recipes to try PLUS the family standard favorites.

now we just don't have that anymore....family is all gone. friends have their own families to celebrate with it's just me and sometimes haoleboy - if he's not working...no reason to decorate, no reason to cook fun foods. empty echoing walls.

i don't want it to be this way........not forever!!!
